ORIDE platform will provide live tracking on your scheduled ride. View the ‘Route’ you took at any time after the ride has ended successfully.
Ride Requests
Ride request from learners will appear with date, time and estimated duration. Open riders have the choice to accept or decline, accepted rides will then be visible in the bookings tab. A notification will be sent to the learner; informing of accepted or declined request.

Why am I having issues with tracking my ride?
- Ensure location for device is switched on.
- Mobile sensors are off.
- Ensure battery power saving mode is switched off.
What happens if I lose network connection?
- The tracking will continue when network connection has been re-established.
What happens if I need to cancel my scheduled ride?
- Learner Rider: Prior to 1 hour notice from scheduled start time, a notification will be sent to the open rider stating the ride has been cancelled, no fee will be issued.
- If cancelled within 1 hour notice, a $5 dishonour fee is invoiced.
- Open Rider: Prior to 1 hour notice from scheduled start time, a notification will be sent to the learner rider stating the ride has been cancelled; giving sufficient time to book another supervised ride. No fee will be issued.
